A representative of the US mission to the OSCE stressed the inadmissibility of restrictions on the movement of OSCE observers in the Donbass, primarily on the part of Russian-supported combatants. “The United States urges Russia and its puppet forces to put an end to such restrictions … We are again calling for full, free and safe access to SMM throughout the territory of Ukraine to fulfill its responsibilities,” – said Harry Kamian in a statement to the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna on January 25, reports Radio Liberty.
He drew attention to the growth of civilian casualties in the Donbass, urging both sides of the conflict to take measures to mitigate the suffering of civilians on both sides of the contact line.
“This, as some people say, is not an internal or civil conflict. Mr. Chairman, let’s say directly: it is a conflict initiated and supported by one member state – the Russian Federation,” – added Harry Camian.
Let’s remind that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko recently stressed the importance of protecting the world from fake news, which are part of the Russian hybrid war.
