The Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the official Telegram channel appealed to the residents of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. Representatives of Ukrainian intelligence thanked for “high-quality cooperation and the approaching defeat of the occupiers,” and also asked to continue to provide information on the location of the occupying forces and assets, FREEDOM informs.
Meanwhile, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, a new movement began to operate – “Resistance of the Nation”. Its activists set fire to a car with the symbols of the occupiers in Feodosia, according to the representative office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
There is a powerful resistance movement on the peninsula, say the Yellow Ribbon organization. This is another initiative that unites the inhabitants of Crimea who are fighting against the occupying Russian authorities.
“We were constantly told that there is no Ukrainian resistance in Crimea. But, for example, in Crimea, we have already begun not only to draw pro-Ukrainian leaflets and graffiti, we are also correcting the letters Z for an hourglass, which means the inevitable defeat of Russia. We are convinced that there are a majority of people with a pro-Ukrainian position in the occupied territories. You can look at the number of our activists in Simferopol, Sevastopol, in the Crimea as a whole. We understand that people may have a neutral position, but they want the Ukrainian legal authorities to come, and the Yellow Ribbon movement will work until the border of Ukraine is returned, as in 1991,” said the coordinator of the movement “Yellow Ribbon” Taras.
The “Yellow Ribbon” is the largest partisan movement in Europe, operating in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia. The platform already has about 7,000 members, including about 2,000 in annexed Crimea. Coordinate their actions through the “Together” chatbot.
The “Yellow Ribbon” chose a non-violent method of resistance for itself, because they believe that in this way they can unite more people.
“You have heard that a curfew has been introduced in Crimea, vigilantes are being recruited. I want to immediately convey my regards to the occupation authorities of Crimea. Our people from the “Yellow Ribbon” will be among these vigilantes, we will have all the information. Therefore, we say “hello,” Taras said.
According to the coordinator, the Yellow Ribbon activists recently painted over the city lights with an advertisement for the Wagner PMC.
“Everything is just beginning, we will not slow down,” Taras concluded.
According to Denis Chistikov, Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the “South” operational command announced an increase in information that comes to them from residents of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
“This is information of a military nature, which will further help in the liberation of these territories. The resistance movement is gaining momentum, not only the “Yellow Ribbon”, but also the “Crimean Fighting Gull”, “Atesh”. All of them confirm that they have support on the peninsula. Despite the fact that their participants are ready not only to hang up posters, leaflets, but are also ready for more active actions,” Chistikov said.
Atesh is another resistance organization in annexed Crimea.
“The military movement “Atesh” is preparing for the liberation of Crimea from the Rashists. We are in Dzhankoy, waiting for the APU. We made dozens of caches with weapons, explosives and ammunition. Now we will mine the “piece of iron”. As soon as the Armed Forces of Ukraine cross the border with Crimea, we will seize administrative buildings and military facilities,” the organization said.
Resistance activists have information about the construction of a defensive line and a new military unit. And in their Telegram channel they warn the Russian occupation authorities not to relax.
Earlier, the coordinators of the Yellow Ribbon organization stated that the majority of Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as in Crimea, have always had a pro-Ukrainian position. However, it was only with the development of digital technologies that people were able to express their protest more actively.
