The entire election campaign of Kremlin dictator Putin will be based on the Ukrainian case. He will have to report something before the voting day. Therefore, the occupiers are trying to throw as much as possible all the reserves they have on the eastern front, specifically on Avdiivka. Serhii Bratchuk, the spokesman of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “South” expressed this opinion on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel today, December 15.
“The enemy has no intention of retreating from his goals. As for the Avdiiv direction, there really is a political-military solution, first of all. The entire so-called election campaign of Putin will be based on the Ukrainian case. And the Ukrainian case is “victories” at the front, “victories” of Russian weapons in one direction or another, which today are being promoted as much as possible in the Russian Federation,” said the guest of the broadcast.
Bratchuk emphasized that many people in the Russian Federation had never even heard of such a city as Avdiyivka before. However, propaganda turns this situation into a really huge “victory”, trying to strengthen Putin’s election campaign in this way.
“I think that in the minds of Russian ordinary people today, Avdiyivka is represented as some kind of medieval castle-fortress, where there are countless riches. And they don’t know the reality. And in order for it to be possible to strengthen this information, and most importantly, Putin’s election campaign, then, of course, certain “victories” are needed here, the spokesman said.
He believes that in the near future Avdiyivka will be heard, as before, and the task of the Russian Federation to destroy the Ukrainian state has not gone anywhere.
“Today, Donetsk and Luhansk regions are Putin’s top priority. He will have to report something before the voting day. Therefore, resources will not be spared, they are not spared. I think that as much as possible, all available reserves will be thrown at Avdiivka. There is no asking price for the bunker grandfather today. Today, the task must be completed, he is trying to complete it,” Bratchuk summed up.
