Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has urged Europe not to allow resurgence of radical right movements, fed by Russian money.

He wrote this on X after polls revealed results of the parliamentary elections in France.

“They love Putin, money and power without control. And they are already in power or are reaching for it in the East or West of Europe. They are joining ranks in the European Parliament. In Poland, we reversed this fatal tide at the very last moment. Let’s not waste it,” Donald Tusk emphasized as Marine Le Pen’s was celebrating the victory in the first round of the parliamentary elections.

According to him, Russia has been sponsoring and arranging “hatred and intimidation campaigns” in various European countries.

Earlier, Donald Tusk claimed that Poland understood long ago that the defence of Ukraine equals the defence of Europe.
