Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko, submits a draft law on national security to the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament.

The law will define which services and institutions will be a part of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense.

Iryna Lutsenko, the Representative of the President in the Verkhovna Rada, added that the draft law will also determine the unilateral strategy of Ukraine on NATO’s standards.

“These are the main strategic moments on which Ukraine should focus on in the near future, in order to to integrate with this security alliance,” Lutsenko said.

Earlier, Petro Poroshenko and Anders Samuelsen discussed the Donbas situation.
