First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska gave an interview to TIME American weekly. The magazine placed a photo of the wife of the President of Ukraine on the cover with the caption “Her War”.

Olena Zelenska spoke about the experience of Ukrainians who are experiencing the Russian invasion.

“What should our children do with the terrible experience of Russian aggression? These children were not raised for war, they were not taught to hate. There are thousands of such children. Helping them heal is the number one task,” she said, talking about the National Program of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, which is designed to help Ukrainians with stress disorders caused by the war.

Olena Zelenska noted that millions of Ukrainian families (according to the Ministry of Health – 44%) are currently separated, which also affects the general psychological state.
