On December 2, 2021, Grid NetWars, a training tournament on cybersecurity of critical infrastructure, will be held in Ukraine for the first time.

The training tournament will be held by the National Coordination Center for Cyber Security at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the USAID project “Cyber Security of Critical Infrastructure of Ukraine” with the support of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection.
“The Grid NetWars training scenarios were created by SANS Institute, the world’s leading organization that trains, develops and certifies cybersecurity professionals from beginner to advanced levels. The Grid NetWars format involves teamwork to repel simulated cyberattacks: during the training, government officials and private companies will practice their ability to protect critical infrastructure from hackers” – the statement said.
For the first time, Ukrainian specialists will receive a prestigious certification from the SANS Institute.
Earlier, the first national cyber defense hackathon kicked off in Kyiv.
