Now Russian army loses twice as many soldiers as in the summer: Reasons and causes

The Kremlin did not stop mobilization and is already preparing for the next wave. According to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), it will not be “partial” and will lead to an even lower quality of training for mobilized and conscripts. Untrained and unequipped Russian soldiers are dying every day in the war unleashed by the Kremlin, FREEDOM reports.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out successful actions to liberate the Kherson region. There are even more de-occupied settlements.

“When we talk about the total number as of today, how many settlements have been liberated, then there are 943 of them, and there will be even more. Because every day our boys and girls, our Armed Forces give their all so that we liberate our territory and our people,” said Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.

Russian troops unsuccessfully storm and fire at Bakhmut, Soledar, Vuhledar. The situation in Donetsk and Lugansk regions is the tensest.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are moving forward. The advance is not going as fast as we would like, but nevertheless, believe me, our soldiers are fighting heroically for every meter of the Luhansk region, moving forward all the time,” comments the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Serhiy Gaidai.

The total number of losses of the Russian army during the full-scale invasion increased to almost 85 thousand troops. Losses of personnel per day can be 600-800 people. This is almost 2 times more than, for example, in summer.

According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the losses of the Russian army are 10 times higher than the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The President explained it this way:

“I can’t give exact numbers, but it’s a very big difference. Because the tactics of our war is not to abandon people, not to use a person as cannon fodder.”

The Russian military themselves also talk about huge losses among their own in telephone conversations that are intercepted by Ukrainian intelligence.

Russian human rights activists believe that Putin is exterminating Russians in the war.

“If you watch interviews with a number of former mobilized men who fought as part of the 155th brigade of the Pacific Fleet, the marines from the hospital told me as one, what was happening there on the first line, on the front line. Putin is throwing his young, strong citizens into the furnace of war. It is obvious that he thinks about the people in the last place – both Ukrainians and Russians. He is ready to put a huge number of people on the altar as victims,” states Vladimir Osechkin, a Russian human rights activist and founder of the public project Gulagu.net.

Some Russian military have begun to understand this and are surrendering to the Ukrainian army. According to the latest data, more than 3,000 Russian military men applied to the state project “I want to live”. The Ukrainian side guarantees a good attitude and observance of the Geneva Conventions to all prisoners of war.
