“According to preliminary information given by the consul following the crash of flight AN-148 on Sunday, there were no Ukrainian citizens on board of the plane that crashed near Moscow,” posted Vasyl Kyrylych, the official representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, on his Twitter page.

71 people perished in the accident, and an investigation to find out the causes of the crash has been launched by Russian authorities.
