The representatives of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will attend the Crimean Platform summit in August 2021. This was confirmed by the adviser to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Geoffrey van Leeuwen in a telephone conversation with the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva, UATV reports.
Deputy Head of the Office of the President told Geoffrey van Leeuwen about the security situation in Donbas, as well as the recent increase in Russia’s military presence on Ukraine’s borders. The parties noted that Russia’s aggressive actions pose a threat to peace and stability in Europe.
“We invariably support Ukraine. A clear signal of our support was given during the visit of the Benelux Foreign Ministers to Ukraine in May”, – Geoffrey van Leeuwen said.
