NATO Parliamentary Assembly is going to be in Kyiv in May 2022, – Razumkov

The spring session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, will take place in Kyiv in May 2022.

The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov wrote about this on Facebook after a meeting with NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana, UATV reports.

Razumkov noted that cooperation with NATO is a priority for the Verkhovna Rada.

“Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly had to be postponed in Kyiv. But we are grateful to our partners for agreeing to hold it in May 2022 in Kyiv”, the Verkhovna Rada Chairman wrote.

Earlier it was reported that NATO will expand its presence in the Black Sea region.
