The Polish Ministry of Defence hasn’t seen support from NATO allies when it comes to helping Ukraine down Russian missiles.

Poland’s Defence Minister Vladyslav Kosiniak-Kamysz said this in a comment to the PAP agency.

“I see no supporters in NATO for this decision,” Vladyslav Kosiniak-Kamysz briefly commented on the negotiations on Ukraine-Poland cooperation in protecting Western Ukraine from Russian missiles.

He reiterated that no country could make such a decision alone without backing of allies. Also, Poland will eventually focus on what’s essential for its interests.

On August 27, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine would appreciate Warsaw’s help in shooting down Russian missiles. He also requested Polish MiG fighter jets.
