NATO Experts Visit Ukrainian Military Training Center in Lviv

NATO experts visited the Military Law Enforcement Training Center in Lviv, reported the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine yesterday.

The purpose of the visit was to determine the possibility of including units of the Ukrainian Military Law Enforcement into the Joint Operation Forces and Capabilities.

The guests were briefed on the center’s curriculum and development of infrastructure. Representatives from Canada and Lithuania also participated in a joint briefing where further cooperation and exchange of experiences were discussed.

Yesterday, June 13, the Romanian Naval Forces delegation met with the Ukrainian Navy Command. “The parties focused on discussion of issues of regional security, development of cooperation in the Black Sea Region and defined priorities of bilateral military cooperation.”

Additionally, the Ukranian minister of defense, Stepan Poltorak, and Moldovan minister of defense, Eugen Sturza met in Odesa on June 11.

“The ministers agreed priorities of further defence cooperation. They focused on discussion of bilateral and NATO-led joint exercises, development of cooperation at the level of staffs of armed forces of the two countries, military technical cooperation and enhancement of partnership between higher military schools,” the statement reads.
