Russian hybrid forces shelled the positions of Ukrainian servicemen nine times, over the past 24 hours, using weapons banned under the Minsk Accords.
Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded.
The Ukrainian military provided an adequate response to the enemy’s usage of mortars, artillery and tanks. They did not allow the militants to use armored fighting vehicles intensively. Six militants were killed, and four more wounded.
Some divisions of Ukrainian troops conducted successful raids, in which one militant was captured.
Most intense fighting continued in the areas of settlements of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Luhanske, Avdeiivka, Vodiane and Shyrokyne, the Joint Forces Operation’s press center reported. However, usage of artillery and mortars by Russian hybrid forces decreased compared to previous days.
