The head of the political council of the “Opposition Platform – For Life” party, Viktor Medvedchuk, was handed an arrest warrant with an alternative bail of UAH 1 billion. Medvedchuk is suspected of high treason.
This is reported by UA with the reference to Facebook page of Medvedchuk’s ally, MP Renat Kuzmin.
In the message, Kuzmin claims that the head of the political council of the “Opposition Platform – For Life” party will not be able to post bail, because the sanctions imposed on him do not allow him to carry out financial transactions.
To remind, Viktor Medvedchuk was announced a new suspicion of high treason and assistance to the activities of a terrorist organization on October 8. According to the investigation, it is about actions aimed at undermining the energy independence of Ukraine.
