In the Donetsk region, the H-08 Mariupol-Zaporizhzhia highway overhaul is underway. The length of the section under repair is 15km, 0629.com.ua reported.
After the overhaul measures, the highway will meet the road requirement of category II, will have an expanded and strengthened roadway, speed lanes and corrected turns for ‘smooth cornering.’
In addition to road reinforcement, workers will repair seven car pavilions and install a drainage system.
H-08 Mariupol-Zaporizhzhia road is the only highway that currently connects the front line city of Mariupol with the rest of Ukraine.
