At Least 355 Civilians Killed in Mine Blasts in Donbas Over Four Years

At least 355 civilians were killed in mine explosions in the territory of Donbas controlled by Ukraine, during the period from May 2014 to March 2018

1,456 were injured.

Ukraine’s Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons reported this, citing data collected by the ministry’s branches in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and confirmed by local governments.

According to the report, a total of 178 civilians were killed and 1,108 people were injured in mine blasts in Donetsk region, while 177 civilians were killed and 348 were injured in Luhansk region.

The data includes only confirmed cases and may be revised in case of new information.
