On Monday, February 3, the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia in Riga will host an official event to announce the transfer of 100 drones to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The event will be attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Baiba Braže, Ambassador of Ukraine Anatoliy Kutsevol, and the head of the Ziedot.lv charity foundation Ruta Dimanta. The event will also feature a demonstration of one of the drones in the air.
The purchase of drones for the Ukrainian military is part of a public fundraising initiative on the Ziedot.lv platform. The organizers emphasize that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in critical need of FPV drones, reconnaissance and attack drones.
Earlier it was reported that the Finnish company Insta will present the Steel Eagle drone developed in cooperation with Ukrainian specialists. Also in early January, the UK, along with NATO allies, announced the transfer of 30,000 drones to Ukraine.
