The Ukrainian Strategic Industries Ministry and the UK trade association, ADS Group Limited, have held the Defence Industrial Forum, involving 155 companies and associations from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Norway, and the Netherlands.

The relevant statement was made by the ministry’s press service, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On February 12, 2025, the Joint Ukraine-UK-Norway-Netherlands Defence Industrial Forum took place. This is a multilateral event organized to create a communication platform between the defense industry companies of Ukraine and three EU Member States,” the report states.

The conference brought together 155 Ukrainian, British, Norwegian and Dutch companies and associations. These are private and state-owned enterprises representing different defense industry sectors. Some of them have already signed partnership agreements or are in the process of implementing them. Hence, the conference offered them an opportunity to strengthen ties and deepen cooperation.

During the event, business representatives held more than 150 meetings.

At the opening ceremony, Ukrainian Strategic Industries Minister Herman Smetanin emphasized that Ukraine considers each of the above countries as a long-term and promising partner in the field of defense industry.

A reminder that the United Kingdom announced the allocation of a new defense aid package to Ukraine, which will include tanks, artillery, missiles and other types of weapons, as well as contracts for the maintenance of previously supplied equipment.
