Kuleba told what the new charter of Ukraine and the United States will be about

The new charter of partnership between Ukraine and the United States of America is a new quality of Ukrainian-American relations.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on 1+1 TV channel,  UA informs.

“It is about greater security cooperation, more support from the United States for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. About more trade between our countries. We need to promote exports, trade our goods, attract investment. And it’s also about cybersecurity. So this is what the charter will be about” – he said.

According to Ned Price, a spokesman for the US State Department, in 13 years bilateral relations between the US and Ukraine have strengthened and matured, leading to the need to update the charter to meet the challenges of the 21st century and strengthen the expanded bilateral partnership.

“This week’s and next week’s meetings are an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment and support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, particularly against the background of Russia’s current aggression” – he said.
