Kuleba discusses accountability for war crimes with EU Special Representative for Human Rights

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and EU Special Representative for Human Rights Eamon Gilmore discussed the accountability for war crimes committed during the Russian aggression.

“I welcomed EU Special Representative for Human Rights Eamon Gilmore yesterday in Kyiv. We discussed ways to ensure justice and accountability for the war crimes committed in the course of Russia’s aggression. The EU actively supports efforts to bring all perpetrators to account,” Kuleba posted on Twitter.

EU Special Representative for Human Rights Eamon Gilmore arrived in Kyiv on June 19. He visited the sites of war crimes in Irpin, Bucha and talked to survivors, had meetings with Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets.
