Russian President Vladimir Putin continues the missile terror of Ukraine, as the Russian army does not demonstrate victory at the front. This opinion was expressed today, on August 1, on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by military analyst Ivan Stupak.
He believes that the Kremlin still hopes that the Ukrainians will get tired of the war and will put pressure on the military-political leadership to make concessions to the Russian Federation.
Stupak recalled that the Russians first destroyed television towers, then proceeded to the fuel infrastructure.
“Then autumn-winter came – this is electrical infrastructure, thermal infrastructure. For some reason, they thought all winter that Ukrainians should be frozen, thrown back into the Stone Age, but it didn’t work out. Here we see just a red thread through the whole war – terror. Terror is for the weak. When you don’t have victories on the fronts, when you can’t even boast to yourself that the military won some victories, conquered some city, recaptured it from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, I don’t know, some district, quarter – this is not Total. Therefore, the only thing left to close these gaps is to shell Ukrainian infrastructure, civilian facilities, residential buildings, again, hoping that somewhere the people will break down and say: “Zelensky stopped the war. We are tired. Come on on any terms, we don’t need the south of Ukraine, let Russia take it… We want a peaceful life.” That is, such a calculation is banal, ”said a military analyst.
He noted that the Russians want negotiations, freezing hostilities at this stage, but any agreements with Putin will lead to a repeat of the war.
“They are already talking about negotiations. This story is already actively going on… True, it is going a little hybrid: “We want negotiations, but the Ukrainian partners do not want to. At the same time, we are moving, we are trying to attack somewhere, we will shell Ukrainian cities”… That is, the Russian side, it wants to freeze everything that is happening now in Ukraine, to make the status quo so that Ukraine recognizes all these territorial ones” acquisitions”, everything that was stolen from Ukraine was recorded. We understand very well that literally in 5-6 years there will be a second war, because the Russian Federation will bring up a new young generation of schoolchildren who will be told that Ukraine once occupied the Zaporozhye, Kherson regions, Donetsk, Luhansk, and now we owe them kick out from there. How Russia ended up in these territories, no one will remember. We know very well that the Kremlin manipulates history very gracefully, spinning one side, the other, as they please. Therefore, we must understand that if they are not expelled now, the war will be repeated and, perhaps, even more bloody than this one, ”Stupak emphasized.
