U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Washington next week.

Zelenskyy also hopes to meet with U.S. President Joe Biden in New York during the U.N. General Assembly, which is set to take place from September 24 to 30.
On September 18, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump announced that he may also meet with Zelenskyy next week when the Ukrainian president arrives for the U.N. General Assembly in New York. Zelenskyy intends to present his peace plan to Biden, Harris, and Trump.
Back in late August, Zelenskyy mentioned the possibility of meeting with Biden during the U.N. General Assembly in September. The Ukrainian president is scheduled to address the U.N. General Assembly on September 25.
