In the World Cup 2022 qualifying match against the Finnish team (1: 1) on March 28, the forward of the Ukrainian national team, Junior Moraes, opened the scoring with his goals for National team.

It is noted that the football player demonstrated himself at the age of 33 years 358 days, setting an age record.
Previously, the oldest player to score a debut goal for the Ukrainian national team was Edmar, who first hit the opponent’s goal (San Marino – 9: 0 in 2013) at the age of 33 years 82 days.
The best striker of the Nationl team is Andriy Shevchenko, who scored his last goal for the main team of the country in 35 years 256 days (Sweden – 2: 1, 2012).
Previously, biathlete Artem Tyshchenko appeared in the top three shooters at the World Cup.
