“We need time to prepare everything: facilities, where everything will be stored, and ways of transfer. We work together on their transportation and deployment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” American official said in an interview published on January 28.

Kurt Volker reminded that anti-tank missile is a defensive weapon which is effective in repelling a tank attack.

“It is defensive weaponry. Not for attack and not for use in line of conflict. In my opinion, Ukraine largely shares this position,” he said.

According to US Special Representative, Washington plans to fill the “white spots” in Ukraine’s defense capability to prevent conflict escalation in the Donbass.

“This is less than what we would like,” Kurt Volker said.
