Italian singer Albano Carrisi (stage name — Al Bano) was invited to perform at a “peace concert” in Moscow. He stated this in a comment to the ANSA agency.

The singer reported that he allegedly received a message from a person who was his impresario in the Russian Federation and organized previous concerts.

“I received a wonderful message from a person who was my impresario in Russia, who arranged four performances for me before Putin, and who told me: “Be ready by the end of August or the beginning of September, because we will give a concert in the name of peace,” — the singer said.

Al Bano clarified that the concert “for peace” is planned to be held on Red Square.

“I told you what my manager told me, and since he never made mistakes in our working relationship, this time it will be the same. The peace concert will take place on Red Square in Moscow. This is great news,” the singer noted.

As previously reported, the Kremlin has effectively declared war on all independent creative individuals who have condemned the war against Ukraine. Their names have been blacklisted. The list of dissenters has been sent to government agencies, concert organizers, promoters, and advertising agencies. Musicians are not given venues to perform, actors are not given roles, directors are not allowed to stage plays or make films, and books by disgraced writers are being removed from libraries and stores.
