To ease the situation on the Ukrainian-Polish border, it is necessary to help Ukraine increase the export of agricultural products to world markets. This was stated by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Warsaw at a joint press conference with the Prime Ministers of Poland Donald Tusk and Belgium Alexander De Croo, reports a correspondent for the FREEDOM TV channel.

“A few words about the specific situation in Poland, on the border with Ukraine. We are going to update the agreement on road transport. Today we have fully taken into account the concerns. Exports from Ukraine along the Black Sea route are increasing significantly. And this is good, because it makes and will continue to make land borders easier. Our efforts must now focus on supporting Ukraine in restoring its export potential around the world,” von der Leyen said.

She recalled that February 24, marked two years since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territory.

“We support Ukrainians in their courageous struggle. I am confident that we will be able to cope with the consequences of this war. They exist in Europe too, because Ukrainians are fighting for the rule of law against the rule of force, for democracy and freedom against tyranny. They fight for our values and our safety. That is why we support and will support them as long as necessary,” emphasized the President of the European Commission.
