The Russian military is transferring forces from less priority areas of the front in Ukraine to the front line in the Kursk region. In particular, military personnel who were previously in the Kharkiv and Siver directions and in the Chasovoy Yar area were recorded there.

Details: ISW observed combat operations by the 810th Marine Brigade, 155th Marine Brigade and 11th Infantry Brigade in the Kursk region, and saw evidence that the Russian military command had recently redeployed units of the 56th Infantry Regiment from the area It will work in the west of the Zaporizhzhia region to the Kursk region.

ISW has not yet seen reports of combat operations by the 51st Infantry Regiment in the Kursk region, but the fact that the commander of the 51st Infantry Regiment reported to Putin along with commanders of other units that recently redeployed their units to the Kursk region suggests that the units The 51st VAT Regiment probably also relocated to this area.

Units of the 51st VAT Regiment were redeployed to the Kursk region from the Siversky direction together with other units of the 106th VAT Division.

Also, Russia redeployed units of the 810th and 155th marine infantry brigades from the front line in the north of Kharkiv region and probably redeployed units of the 11th VAT brigade from the Chasiv Yar area.

The Russian military command is resisting the redeployment of forces from the priority Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region and will probably continue to redeploy forces from less priority areas in other parts of the theater of operations for defense in the Kursk region.
