On Monday, Sept. 3, military exercise Rapid Trident 2018 started in Ukraine, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
The opening ceremony took place on the territory of the International Peacekeeping and Security Centre of the Hetman Petro Sagaidachnyi National Ground Forces Academy in Starychi, Lviv region.
Rapid Trident 2018 is the largest joint land military exercise held on the territory of Ukraine. The exercise involves military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and units of foreign countries.
Preparations for the Rapid Trident 2018 started earlier this year.
