Representatives of the French National Gendarmerie Training Center will conduct training for the National Guard of Ukraine for two weeks.
This is reported by UA with the reference to the portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
International Interdepartmental Multidisciplinary Center for Training Units of the National Guard of Ukraine began the first stage of training of public security units, which was attended by the French representatives of National Training Centre of the Gendarmerie Forces.
According to the report, the training center of the National Guard of Ukraine is located in the village of Stare, Kyiv region. The training will last for two weeks.
The units of the National Guard of Ukrain will work out new European standards and approaches to public safety tasks during collective training.
Colonel Sebastien Dordhain, the law enforcement attaché of the French Embassy in Ukraine, arrived at the Center before the start of the active phase of the exercises. The delegation got acquainted with the center’s infrastructure, Ukrainian equipment and personal protective equipment together with French National Gendarmerie Training Center instructors. In addition, they consulted with the command of the training center.
“We appreciate your support and study your experience. Our instructors are being trained at the French National Gendarmerie Training Center in Saint-Astier. And today, with the participation of representatives of this training unit, a training course for public security units of the National Guard of Ukraine is starting here in Stare. Thank you for your experience and I hope for productive cooperation” – said Oleksandr Kryachko, the head of the International Center.
The training between the National Guard of Ukraine and the French National Gendarmerie is taking place at the International Interdepartmental Multidisciplinary Center for Training Units of the National Guard of Ukraine for the second time.
To remind, on September 20, on the basis of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security, the Ukrainian-American exercises RAPID TRIDENT-2021 began. The exercise will be attended by 6,000 troops from 15 partner countries.
