Russian troops have accumulated reserves in the Orekhovsky direction in the Zaporizhzhia region. It is obvious that the occupiers have plans to cut off the Robotyno bridgehead – the territory that the Ukrainian Defense Forces deoccupied last year. However, the enemy has now concentrated all his forces on Avdiivka, Donetsk region. And it will probably act consistently. This opinion was expressed on the FREEDOM TV channel by military expert Serhii Grabsky.

“The enemy today can afford to conduct operations of this format. But literally in two or three isolated directions. Over the last week, we somehow don’t really remember Kupyansk as a place where the efforts of the Russian occupiers were exerted, because troops were transferred from near Kupyansk, including to Avdiivka. That is, the enemy, in general, has resources sufficient to carry out such offensive operations,” Grabsky said.

But these operations are very local in nature, the expert believes. Here it makes more sense to talk about sequential actions.

“That is, now – Avdiivka, then the troops will be transferred to other directions,” Grabsky clarified.

At the same time, he emphasized that, speaking about the capabilities of the Russian occupiers, it is necessary to evaluate not only the concept of the number of troops, but also such a concept as the quality of these troops. To what extent are they equipped with equipment and specialists?

“You can have 10-20 thousand soldiers, but not have specialists. Then this very seriously limits the possibilities of carrying out any operations. What we are seeing right now. Therefore, we see such consistent activity when the enemy is now attacking Avdiivka, and then, perhaps, will try to attack the ledge,” Grabsky noted.
