In Russia, there are now all the prerequisites for the start of a civil war. This opinion was expressed on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by a military observer, a former speaker of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladislav Seleznev.
“That conflict situation, which currently has the prerequisites for development, in principle, is the beginning of a civil war, because all the conditions have been met. Events take place on the territory of the Russian Federation. In these processes, only representatives of citizens of the Russian Federation are involved – both the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDC) and the Legion “Freedom of Russia” consist entirely of citizens of the Russian Federation. Moreover, they are actually recruiting into their ranks more and more supporters who are ready to fight against the Putin regime with weapons in their hands,” Seleznev said.
He recalled that the RDK group began with a group of fighters whose motivation was transformed into a fairly large number of participants in this process.
“They have modern weapons, means of communication, they have the appropriate communication with those resources that allow them to cross the state border between Ukraine and Russia, carry out these same information events and move in the opposite direction when these missions are completed. We see that residents of the Bryansk region are already involved in this process,” Seleznev said.
He stated that explosions are recorded on the territory of the Kursk region, certain events are taking place on the territory of the Belgorod and Smolensk regions.
“It is quite possible that Russian partisans are operating there, who in this way demonstrate their attitude towards the Putin regime and are ready to fight the Putin regime with weapons in their hands, because it is obvious to everyone that the state in which the Russian Federation is currently located is the path to nowhere, this path to the abyss, ”Seleznev believes.
Earlier, on May 22, Russian volunteer formations entered Russia from the territory of Ukraine and established control over a number of settlements.
Soldiers of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) and the Freedom of Russia Legion held a press conference, during which they summed up the results of the raid in the Belgorod Region. Legionnaires went deep into the Russian Federation for 42 km and during the day controlled some settlements of the Russian Federation. They also managed to seize armored vehicles and weapons of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, some military documents and take a prisoner.
On June 2, the Russian volunteer corps went on another raid in the Belgorod region. The fighting took place in the vicinity of the city of Shebekino.
