Hearings in the case of the downed UIA plane have begun in Iran

Hearings on the crash of a Ukrainian passenger plane in 2020 began in the Iranian military court on November 21.

This was reported by UA with reference to Ukrinform.

The meeting was attended by 10 servicemen of various ranks, who are suspected of committing this crime. The meeting was also attended by the families of the victims and lawyers representing 103 official plaintiffs in the UIA PS752 crash case.

The hearings were the first in a case that was opened more than 22 months ago.

To remind, 176 people died in the crash.

Earlier, Ukraine joined the statement of the UK, Canada and Sweden on Iran’s shooting down of flight PS752.
