Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris holds a slight lead over Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump in six key “swing states” that are crucial for the election outcome.
According to a poll released by Bloomberg News/Morning Consult on September 26, reported by The Hill and European Pravda, Harris leads Trump by 7 percentage points in Nevada (52% to 45%) and by 5 percentage points in Pennsylvania (51% to 46%). She also holds a 3-point lead in Arizona and Michigan.
Harris maintains a narrow lead in North Carolina (50% to 48%) and Wisconsin (49% to 48%), while in Georgia, both candidates are tied at 49% support.
Most of these results, except for Nevada and Pennsylvania, fall within the margin of error. Overall, in these seven key states, Harris leads Trump by 3 percentage points, and her lead increases to 4 points when third-party candidates are included.
The poll was conducted from September 19-25, surveying 6,165 registered voters in these states. The margin of error is 4 points for Nevada and 3 points for the other states.
It is also noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, currently visiting the U.S., is expected to meet with Donald Trump soon.
