Representatives from Great Britain and Poland are meeting in Geleni, near Warsaw, to discuss counteracting Russian disinformation in Eastern Partnership countries.
Polish Foreign Affairs Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and National Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak will meet with British counterparts Boris Johnson and Gavin Williamson in what is the 6th “Quadriga consultation,” meetings aimed at growing the strategic relationship between the countries.
“Also on the agenda are such security policy issues as the eastern dimension of collaboration, regional security, trouble spots, and the UK’s future relationship with the European Union,” The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The ministers will discuss their priorities in the upcoming NATO summit in Brussels and the United Kingdom’s enhanced forward presence in Poland.
As part of the discussion, the defense ministers will seek ways to enhance defense cooperation, including through joint military projects and defense industry collaborations.
