France is concerned about Russia’s build-up near Ukraine’s borders and has called on Moscow to refrain from further invasion.
This is reported by UA with reference to Bloomberg.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian stressed that “any violation of borders, any invasion will have very serious consequences”.
Le Drian said there was a need to find a “way to cooperate” with President Vladimir Putin, even though his “authoritarian” tendencies had become more significant in recent months.
In addition, he said, Russia has an influence on the leadership of Belarus and must “put pressure” on Minsk to resolve the migration crisis.
