More than 700 people departed for Ukraine from the Egyptian resort city of , after their flights were delayed or canceled on Saturday due to technical reasons.
This was announced by the deputy director-general of the Department of Consular Service, Vasyl Kyrylych on Twitter.
“705 Ukrainians flew from Sharm El Sheikh to Ukraine by four flights. We are clarifying whether there are those who have not booked and expect a return to Ukraine,” wrote Kyrylych.
All passengers were taken to a hotel on Saturday, where they stayed for the night and were provided with food and water.
