F-16 planes are absolutely realistic to use in Ukraine, their delivery is a matter of time, – military expert

After statements about the supply of Western tanks to Ukraine, discussions continue on the provision of attack aircraft, in particular F-16 aircraft. It is absolutely realistic to use these fighters in Ukraine, and their delivery is a matter of time. This opinion was voiced on the FREEDOM TV channel by a military expert, volunteer Pavel Narozhny.

“The next stage of assistance is the F-16, which is also absolutely realistic. I think this is a matter of one or two months, and the process is already underway. There is money in the budget. Ukrainian pilots are studying, our airfields and infrastructure are being prepared. What exactly these works consist of, I don’t know, but the process has already been launched, according to the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ”the expert noted.

At the same time, he stressed that the delivery of fighters is a complex logistical issue. Since these are not only aircraft, but also spare parts, ammunition is different. It is necessary to establish repair bases in the country.

“But I’m more than sure it’s a matter of time. And we will get these planes. Because the security of Ukraine is the security of Europe, first of all. Putin has already shown his face. Everyone already understands perfectly well that if Ukraine falls, then Poland and the Baltic countries will be next. Then the Czech Republic and so on. Therefore, it is much easier for Europeans and Americans to give us these F-16s so that the Ukrainians fight, ”Narozhny believes.

He also emphasized that the army is a huge complex, it consists of many components. Therefore, all facets of the Ukrainian army must be developed and supported.

According to Narozhny, in addition to the F-16, the Armed Forces of Ukraine need long-range missiles, Apache combat helicopters, which are very effective in working on the front line.

“A large number of wheeled vehicles are already supplied to us. But this is not enough, it does not happen much. We need armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles. This is also being worked on. The news has already passed that Switzerland is almost ready to allow the re-export of Swiss equipment to Ukraine,” he added.

Earlier, military expert Serhii Grabsky said that after the historic decision to receive ground-based armored vehicles by Ukraine, obtaining aviation is a laborious, costly, lengthy process. But this process is obvious. Ukraine will have aviation.
