Ukraine increased its export of goods to Germany by almost 24 percent in a year.

In 2016, the volume of exports was €1.8 billion, and in 2017 it rose to over €2.2 billion. This data is recorded by the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, reported Deutsche Welle.

At the same time, the import of German goods to Ukraine increased from €3.6 billion in 2016 to €4.4 billion in 2017, which is a 21 percent increase.

However, Ukraine’s position on the list of Germany’s most important trading partners has not changed by much. Ukraine has risen from the 44th position to the 43rd. In the ranking of exporters to Germany, Ukraine remains in the 46th position. The main buyers of German goods are the United States, France and China. Germany, in turn, imports the most from China, the Netherlands and France.
