EU foreign ministers will hold talks on the situation in Afghanistan on Tuesday, August 17.
This was announced by EU Foreign Minister Josep Borrell on Twitter, UA informs.
“Following latest developments in Afghanistan, and after intense contacts with partners in the past days and hours, I decided to convene an extraordinary videoconference of EU Foreign Ministers tomorrow afternoon for a first assessment” – Borrel wrote.
The official noted that Afghanistan stands at a crossroad. Security and wellbeing of its citizens, as well as international security are at play.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine evacuated 79 people from Afghanistan.
