EU Commission approves nearly €4.2 billion for Ukraine under Ukraine Facility Plan

EU Commission has approved releasing another €4.2 billion to Ukraine under Ukraine Facility Plan.

This was announced by the European Commission President on July 17.

“Once adopted by the Council, total EU funding to Ukraine under the Facility will reach €12 billion. The EU continues to firmly support Ukraine’s fight for freedom and path to the EU,” European Commission President wrote on X.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine has already welcomed the Commission’s decision and reiterated that Ukraine is determined to implement vital reforms to make its EU future closer.

“This vital assistance bolsters our macro-financial stability and public administration amid our ongoing fight for freedom. Together, we advance structural reforms and work towards a brighter, integrated future,” Shmyhal said.
