Eight Ukrainian Soldiers Injured in Donbas

Eight Ukrainian soldiers have been wounded on the front line in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours. The Ukrainian military has recorded 76 attacks by Russian hybrid forces over that same time period. On the Luhansk front, militants used rocket launchers, heavy artillery, mortars, tanks, and infantry fighting vehicles. They also attacked Ukrainian positions on the Donetsk front with heavy weaponry.

A spokesperson for the Ukrainian military, Oleh Sushynskyi, gave this comment, “Defenders of Verkhniotoretske, the Butivka mine, Vodiane, and Hnutove were attacked with 120-mm mortars and grenade launchers. Occupants also fired at Ukrainian defenders of Avdiivka with 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms. Additionally, the enemy used anti-tank missiles near Talakivka and Hnutove.”
