The first debate of two official candidates from Republicans and Democrats in the U.S. 2024 elections took place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Harris and Trump were live on air to win votes for themselves. In 90 minutes, the candidates answered how they are ready to deal with the main issues that the United States will face for the next 4 years.

The Presidential elections in the USA will be held on November 5.

During the debates, the candidates for the US presidency raised the issue of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

If I were president, Putin would never invaded Ukraine, said Donald Trump.

He also said that he would resolve the issue of the war in Ukraine quickly – even before he became president.

In turn, Kamala Harris said that Trump does not have such influence on Putin and actually supports dictators.

Everyone knows that Trump said that Putin can do whatever he wants, and when Putin attacked Ukraine, he said – it’s brilliant, – Harris noted.

When the host asked Trump, “Do you think Ukraine’s victory in the war against Russia is in the interest of the United States?”

Trump replied: “It is in our interest to end the war.”

Trump stated that Russia attacked Ukraine because the Kremlin saw the incompetence of the Biden administration in Afghanistan.

Harris said that “world leaders” mock Donald Trump.

She also claimed that the military supposedly laughs at him.

When the debate between Trump and Harris ended, the opponents did not shake hands.

Trump concluded his speech by calling Harris the worst vice president in U.S. history.

In her closing remarks, Harris described her campaign as future-oriented and Trump as fixated on the past.
