Last night, Russia put the frigate Admiral Makarov on combat duty in the Black Sea, but no launches of Caliber were recorded. The enemy naval group now has nine launch vehicles: eight in the Black Sea and one in the Azov Sea. Natalya Gumenyuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, said this on the FREEDOM TV channel.

“The enemy naval group is now deployed at a medium level, let’s say so. They also had cases when it was represented by a wider range of ships and boats. Now nine units are serving in the Black and Azov Seas,” noted Gumenyuk.

According to her, the level of missile danger has increased significantly due to the Russian launch vehicle Admiral Makarov entering combat duty.

“That night, in the middle of a drone attack, when all air defense systems were put on full alert and were participating in repelling the Russian attack, the enemy put on duty the frigate Admiral Makarov, which has eight Caliber missiles on board. Its use appeared quite often, even in very difficult storm conditions. They carried out such attacks more than once. Therefore, we reported an increased level of missile danger from the Black Sea,” the speaker noted.

Gumenyuk also drew attention to the fact that the Russians began to save on Caliber-type missiles.

“We have already observed from the beginning of this year, as well as several months before the end of the previous one, that the enemy is significantly saving Calibers. They have difficulties with this. Not with the use itself, but with the subsequent replenishment of supplies and restoration of the combat effectiveness of launch vehicles. Due to the fact that logistics and infrastructure support for missile launchers and, in fact, the loading of the Calibers themselves are still tied to Sevastopol, and for the bulk of the ship’s personnel today the main base point is Novorossiysk,” noted Natalya Gumenyuk.
