U.S. President-elect Donald Trump arrived in Washington ahead of his inauguration, scheduled for January 20.

This was reported by CBC News and ABC News.

Trump’s plane landed at the airport on the evening of January 18. He and his family then headed to his Trump Sterling golf club, where a reception with fireworks took place.

The event was attended by representatives from the tech industry, business associates, and Republican supporters. At the club, Trump performed his signature dance for the cameras but did not provide any comments during the event.

Today, January 19, Trump is set to participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, followed by a rally in Washington, where billionaire Elon Musk is also scheduled to speak.

On inauguration day, Trump will start with the traditional prayer service at the Episcopal Church of St. John. He will then head to the White House for tea with the outgoing president and first lady.

Following this, Trump will proceed to the Capitol, where the inauguration ceremony has been moved indoors due to a sharp drop in temperatures.

However, it remains unclear how the event will be managed inside the Capitol Rotunda, which accommodates only 600 people, while over 250,000 guests have received tickets to attend. The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, responsible for organizing the event, has stated that most ticket holders will not be able to attend in person.

After taking the oath of office and delivering his inaugural address, there will be a ceremonial farewell to Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Once the new administration takes power, Trump will sign some of his first official acts. This will be followed by a congressional luncheon and a review of U.S. military troops. After the formalities, inaugural balls featuring musical performances will take place at the White House’s Oval Office.
