Is Russian aggression directed only at Ukraine, or does the current policy of the northern neighbor threaten the security of all of Europe?

UA correspondents decided to find out what Ukrainians think about this.

“Europe, of course, puts pressure on Russia, but the best thing is to really cut off export routes, that would be the ideal solution. Our industry would begin to grow, we would maintain trade relations with the European Union more,” a man says.

“Nonsense! Nonsense! Are you tired of this Russian aggression,” a woman says.

“I think we should all make peace and not fight anymore. That’s what I think. And what is happening now? I think it’s a heating up. They heat it up, but why – is not clear. There are some interests. I think it’s all business,” a woman says.

“For no one. I don’t think it’s a threat, it’s politics. Attach the Soviet Union back. Nothing more,” a man says.

“Yes, there will be no aggression. We stayed here the 2014th year, when everyone was running away anywhere they saw. In general, we don’t feel, we don’t feel that there will be aggression. My relatives live in Russia, so we keep in touch with them. They live just near the Rostov region a little further, but the mood there is not attacking,” a man says.

“Of course, for the peace. Why? And why are they putting spokes in the wheels of independent Ukraine? Why do they think that they can dictate what we should do and how we should live. Therefore, it is a threat to the whole world, to the whole democracy. Sanctions, moreover such that they understand that jokes are bad with the democratic world,” a man says.

“I think it’s more global. I think Russia wants to be talked to. Because if only Ukraine, they are already waving it well from all sides. Only negotiations, negotiations, negotiations. But if they make even a little concession to him – and they can’t use the same weapon to scare as he does, then I think it won’t help. A person cannot be changed,” a woman says.

“On Ukraine. On Ukraine, because they want to return the Union, but it doesn’t work,” a woman says.

“It is unlikely that Putin understands this whole situation. He lives in the past, he needs an empire, but an empire, well, it seems he’s alone. The nearest Ukraine. And he has already pressed small Belarus,” a woman says.

“I think for the whole world. Because Putin, he asserts himself this way, asserts himself, you understand … Therefore, he needs to show everyone how strong he is, although he perfectly understands that this will be a big mistake. Ukrainians must show that they will not tolerate Putin and he will quickly calm down, because people like him are cowardly deep inside, you put things in order in your country, and then get into someone’s,” a woman says.

“Shortly? Hit Vladimir Putin in the face once, well, it could be the supply of excellent F-18 fighter weapons to our country, also there are a lot of other mothballed destroyers that are staying in the United States, there are a lot of them. At least 5-6 could have been delivered to Ukraine, and after that, I think Vladimir Putin was not very eager to lose relations with us,” a man says.

“There can’t be a threat only for Ukraine, it can be for the whole world. I think it’s necessary to somehow negotiate, decide, discuss in a peaceful way, war is not an honest way out, there will definitely be no benefit to anyone,” man says.
