Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has arrived to China for a two-day diplomatic visit to discuss a just peace for Ukraine.

He reported this on Instagram, posting a video from China.

‘One issue is in the center of attention, peace in Ukraine. We will talk, we will find common ground. We should avoid rivalry of peace plans and move towards a just and sustainable peace. China could play a major role in it,’ Ukraine’s Foreign Minister stressed.

He noted that his trip took him two days but it was nothing when it came to efforts to achieve long-standing peace in Ukraine.

Kuleba was invited to pay a visit to Beijing by his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.

This is the first time a top Ukrainian official visits China since Russia fully invaded Ukraine in 2022.
