“Denied” – an outcome of Brussels talks on security guarantees

No guarantees on the Ukraine’s NATO membership for Kremlin. Russia has no right of veto in this issue – this was a clear statement expressed by allies during the meeting of a NATO-Russia council in Brussels – the secretary general of the organization Jens Stoltenberg stated. They are clear-eyed – a new armed conflict in Europe is possible. That’s why the talks track is important to continue to prevent it. And if Russia chooses the ‘military path’, then – citing the secretary – the huge consequences will follow, both economic and political.
