Clear Sky 2018 Military Aviation Exercises Started in Ukraine

NATO countries gathered in Ukraine for the “Clear Sky” training mission.

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry said that the military exercises, which started today, will run to the 19th in Khmelnytskyi (Starokonstantiniv city) and Vinnytsia (Havryshivka aerodrome) regions.

In addition to Ukraine, Belgium, Great Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and the United States are training.

“In recent days, residents of Starokonstiantyniv saw in the sky not only the Ukrainian Su-24 jet fighters but also MiG-29 and Su-27 jets. What is the most remarkable is the arrival of F-15 144 American jet fighter from California,” a statement published Oct. 7 by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on its Facebook reads.
