The epicentre of active hostilities is now east of Ukraine: near Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Soledar. But just behind the front line lies a small town Chasiv Yar, where civilians still live. They are mostly elderly people who have nowhere to live, and the only way for them to get food or even drinking water is to wait for humanitarian aid deliveries from the volunteers.
